ZAIK | PROFITRAINING
The training will concentrate on pure bodywork and on paying attention to the intensity of actions. The idea is to encourage people to stay present to each moment and opening paths/possibilities to sharpen their relation to space/place and body awareness. I am aiming to support “movers” to be, bodily and mentally awakening – allowing them to perceive the relation of their body in space [on the floor, standing and jumping].
We will have several methods of initiating a class, passing through hybrid forms of dance techniques, but all, mainly focusing on the movements of the joints, using them not only as support to allow movement, but also to retain impact and to support the subject against gravity. I will spend time motivating you to find the relation of your body to the floor. Also, begin to experiment with the force of gravity and physically to relate to it.
Throughout the class, movements are deductively introduced, and participants will learn by doing the moves. They will observe and execute combinations, probing in real time. In the end, I hope to find a common goal with everyone to let their body move!
